Minnick Web Services Now Offers Digital Editions

As promised last month, we've just added digital editions to our ePublishing product line, enabling you to deliver online magazines in the most cost-effective, legible, and user-friendly format available today.

As you know, with digital editions you can extend your magazines' reach (or create new magazines) without the expense of printing and postage. Simply provide a PDF – the standard for magazine production – and MWS converts it into an attractive digital edition that can be embedded in a Web page and launched using a standard Flash-enabled Web browser.

MWS's digital edition solution is built on a combination of the Issuu platform and our existing ePublishing infrastructure, a.k.a. StatReport. Issuu (pronounced "issue") is a popular new social publishing community with thousands of users driving development of its Flash-based viewer. With the Issuu platform, MWS can customize the viewer's look and program its behavior through a JavaScript API. Our ePublishing infrastructure – which provides audience management, monitoring, and reporting – has served for more than ten years as the foundation of our successful eBook service.

With the combination of MWS and Issuu, you will get digital editions that readers actually enjoy, plus the customization and management features that professional publishers require. You will also see a significant savings because of the economies of working with the Issuu platform.

To find out more about pricing and getting started with a digital edition or eBook, email David Kalman at dkalman@terrella.com, or call him at 650-270-6712.
